CHICAGO, ILL. ? Sept. 24, 2003 ? David Stevenson, president and chief creative officer of Two by Four, has accepted the offer to serve on the Board of Directors for the Parkways Foundation. The Parkways Foundation is a philanthropic partner of the Chicago Park District dedicated to preserving and enhancing the parks and recreational facilities of Chicago.


Loosely based on the successful models of the Central Park Conservancy and Prospect Park Alliance in New York City, The Parkways Foundation is organized as a nonprofit agency that works closely with the Chicago Park District to identify projects and programs that could not otherwise be achieved under current budget restraints to help bring increased vitality to Chicago?s parks. Parkways focuses on three fundamental areas of activity: program development, environmental enhancement and capital improvement. Parkways supports the Park District?s effort to maintain its pledge against raising taxes.


Stevenson is founder, president and chief creative officer of Two by Four, a Chicago advertising agency located in the West Loop. Two by Four serves clients such as Wrangler, Wrangler 20X, RIGGS by Wrangler, Downtown Naperville Alliance, UPM-Kymmene, The John Buck Company, Workhorse Custom Chassis, Bridgestone Firestone Retailer Division, Ariat International, Lakefront Supportive Housing and Amalfi Hotels.
