Joyce Buick GMC of Mansfield is Proud to Announce that General Motors Foundations donates $75,000

Throughout 2011 General Motors Foundation will be donating $ 1 million to nonprofit organizations in communities where GM has plants. After General Motors opened some of their plants for visitors, they announced the donations.????Joyce Choice, the leading Buick and GMC dealer in Mansfield, Ohio is proud to be a partner with such a progressive, community-minded company.


More than 10,000 people visited five plants when they held an open house as a sign of General Motors appreciation for its customers.


?Every day, the men and women of General Motors do more than design, build and sell cars, trucks and crossovers,? said GM Foundation President Vivian Pickard. ?They also devote time, resources and money to help their neighbors. The GM Foundation wants to supplement their efforts by funding some very important programs in the Flint area.?


The grants will assist children, adults and seniors who are being affected by poverty. Many people in these areas are affected by unemployment and not able to provide food, clothing, proper shelter and various other necessities. Through the donation, General Motors is able to provide these things and even educational programs.
